Lumar Guittard
Since she was 11 years old, Lumar Guittard discovered her love for surfing on the coasts of Venezuela, training every weekend with her family.
At 16, she was already a national champion and represented Venezuela in the Pan American Games and the World Surfing Games of the International Surfing Association. Her sports career took her to compete in world-renowned waves, such as Pipeline in Hawaii, Teahupoo in Tahiti, Shark Island in Australia, and she dedicated herself to competing professionally for 20 uninterrupted years.
Throughout her life, she combined her studies in chemical engineering with her sports career, standing out both in the classroom and in competitions.
She founded her surf school in 2006 as Lumy Surf School. Today, based in Miami, she continues to teach surfing to children, young people and adults, combining her experience as a professional athlete with her dedication to teaching and connecting with nature.

- Representative of Venezuela at the Pan American Surfing Games in Brazil 1997
- Representative of Venezuela at the World Surfing Games in Carcavelos, Portugal 1998
- Top 4 in the world at the Pipeline Bodyboard World Challenge Contest 2010
- Top 5 in the A.P.B. world ranking 2011
- Founder of Lumy Surf School in 2006 and promoter of the sport through her sports event production company Producciones Lumy C.A.
- Organizer of the largest bodyboard event in Venezuela and Latin America BODYBOARD PRO FESTIVAL for 10 years (2005-2014) in Playa Parguito, Margarita Island as a stop on the APB World Tour.
Lumar Guittard, director and founder of Lumy Surf School since 2006, has transmitted her passion for surfing to children, young people and adults in all types of surfing:

Since the school was founded, there has been an importance of good teamwork of instructors, who have been high-performance athletes and have been trained in first aid and as coaches endorsed by the ISA Association.
Over time, with the international experiences of Lumar Guittard’s participation as a coach in other surf schools in Europe, she has dedicated herself to improving knowledge to achieve learning optimization and achieve the desired and dreamed goal of you.
